If purchasing a shipping label/mailing in shoes for resole, please read the following:
 

1. Rands (toe cap or large rand) will be put on at the discretion of the cobbler. They will only be put on if necessary. Assume you need them when considering the cost of your repairs. 

2. We DO NOT repair shoes formerly resoled by other resolers. We will mail them back to you unrepaired. 

3. We will not repair Drago models from Scarpa or Chaco sandals.

4. You must send in BOTH shoes in a pair.

5. Ensure your return address is completely correct and is a reliable address or PO Box to ship to- If your shoes are returned to sender/our shop, then you will pay the shipping fee again. All shoes are mailed via USPS. 

6. We only resole La Sportiva, Scarpa, Unparallel, and Butoras.

7. IF YOUR SHOES ARE 'TOO FAR GONE' FOR OUR POLICY, WE WILL MAIL THEM BACK TO YOU UNREPAIRED. CLICK HERE TO SEE PHOTO EXAMPLES.

Starting in September 2023 we will ONLY take La Sportiva, Unparallel, Butora, and Scarpa brand climbing shoes. 
*They're superior, last longer, less of a pain to work on. 
Thanks for respecting our business choice and not asking us for exceptions to the rule.

The check-out process here provides us with all your information we need to receive your shoes, email, shipping address, phone number, etc! Please write your order number and your first and last name on or in the box. No need to print anything. 

 

1. List EACH shoe make/model, SIZE. 

--Write 'dropped off in person' if that's the case, and list the model of your shoes.

 

2. Enter the QUANTITY of pairs you're sending in.

 

3. Check out. 

 

4. Mail your pair(s) of shoes to the below address, at your own cost, in your own time. Clearly label your first and last name and order number on or inside of the package.

Within 2-3 business days of receiving your shoes in the shop, we will assess for repairs and email you an invoice with the list of repairs. Please pay the day it is received.

  • We will send you an invoice through email detailing the repairs needed. 

     

    Ensure your information is accurate. 

     

    Once your shoes are resoled and shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking info.  Shoes are shipped through USPS, priority mail. 

     

    WE WILL SHIP BACK SHOES THAT ARE IRREPAIRABLE/TOO FAR GONE FOR OUR POLICY - see our Climbing Shoe Resole page for photos and descriptions to help you out!

FYI Approach Shoes

The images are examples of the approach shoes we resole. You'll notice they all have similar soles in common- a clear and simple sole design, like a slab of rubber on the bottom of the shoe. The more simple the design, the better.

We will use dot rubber to resole by default. 

 

Your shoes might be too far gone if they're torn to shreds. We can add patches and rands and do minor stitching, but we won't work on shoes that we feel will not last as long as their new sole. Please send us photos to info@valleyshoerepair.com if you're unsure. 

Additional shipping cost may be present on the invoice we send out, as these shoes require larger shipping boxes than standard climbing shoes.
